Dear Patients,
We wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of your dental offices while we navigate the COVID19 Coronavirus pandemic. Over the weekend we were contacted by both the American Dental Association and Colorado Dental Association encouraging us to keep our business operations open and as normal as possible during this time. Their reasoning is simple. Even though we do not have many cases right now in our area here in El Paso, Pueblo, and Teller counties, they want to make sure that dental needs and dental emergencies that arise don’t overburden other medical facilities and hospitals that are not equipped to handle dental issues. So for now we are planning on staying open at all our locations.
We use state of the art sterilization techniques and keep our offices clean and sanitized at all times. We always keep everything sanitized in the waiting areas and restroom facilities, as well.
In addition to the standard universal precautions that we regularly use, we have implemented a few changes during this time to help patients that may have reservations about sitting in a waiting room with other patients. We are calling it car-side check-in. If you are an established patient and wish to remain in your vehicle, simply call us to let us know you have arrived then we will contact you when we are ready to take you back and one of our friendly staff will meet you at the door to bring you back without staying in the waiting room. We want you to know that we take your health and safety as our topmost priority. If you are feeling ill please let us know and we will gladly move your appointment.
We have been informed of possible shortages in dental supplies due to the disruptions in the supply chain we are seeing across the globe. As of yet, we are not having any issues but we do not know how long this outbreak will last and what will happen with possible supply shortages in the future. So we are asking you to please not put off any dental treatment especially if you think it could result in problems in the near future. Schedule your appointments promptly so we can take care of them now before we have bigger issues that may be harder to address.
We are here to serve you through this time and want you to know of our deep interest and prayers for you and your families and all the nations of the world as we come together to emerge strong and vibrant.
Please feel free to contact us with any concerns or questions you may have.
From all of us here at Prestige Dental Centers
Keep Calm and Floss On.
