Dentures have long offered people in need of new teeth an economical teeth replacement solution. Dentures are removable appliances that are custom made from impressions of a patient’s gums and remaining teeth, if any are left. They are fabricated in our on-site laboratory to closely resemble a partial or full set of natural teeth, depending on how many need replacing.
Dentures are generally used to replace multiple adjacent missing teeth. Partials are recommended for patients who still have some of their natural teeth remaining, while full removable dentures can be used for patients who have lost all of their original adult teeth, or whose remaining teeth are failing.
Not all dentures are removable. Dr. Rogers and Dr. Bull generally recommend that patients opt for implant supported dentures, which are secured firmly in place using dental implants. They can then be removed as needed to clean them and your mouth. Implant dentures are the most comfortable option available to those people that need dentures. They are beautiful and feel natural and solid in your mouth.
The Upside to Dentures
The great thing about dentures is that they are affordable. People often struggle for years if not decades with tooth loss and teeth that are decayed and failing. Having a set of dentures fitted properly by us can completely change the way they look and feel about themselves, not to mention provide them with a more comfortable alternative to eating instead of loose decayed teeth. Dentures are also fabricated to look just like natural teeth and can manage most foods.
